Why ‘everything in moderation’ is the worst nutritional advice you’ve ever heard – Daily Life – June 2016


I eat one square of chocolate every night. My husband has half a block, but only once a week. My friend Jo eats half a block every single day. My personal trainer tries to avoid chocolate but succumbs to temptation once a month.

We all enjoy eating chocolate, and we all think that we are enjoying it moderately. And yet, demonstrably the four of us all have very different ideas about what moderation actually means.
