It was love at first sight. I knew that I would feel at home in Sydney from the first moment I saw her, craning my neck to catch a first glimpse from the window of a Boeing 747. The sun was rising on another beautiful day in the Emerald City and I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.

In the first year or so people would ask me why I loved Sydney so much. The almost constant blue sky, the cheerful outlook of the sun-kissed Sydneysiders and beachy yet cosmopolitan feel of the city were always top of my list.
