Why do parents cry when their children perform on stage? – Essential Kids – December 2017

For most of this month my daughters, aged six and eight, prepared to sing at Carols in the Park with the local children’s choir. Rehearsals took place on a Friday evening and, to be honest, were a major drag for me.

Going to rehearsals meant finishing work early, negotiating two lots of local school traffic and reminding two hot and bothered children who would rather be at the park that this was THEIR IDEA IN THE FIRST PLACE!
