When news of “Doritos for women” or “lady chips” as they became known, broke around the world earlier this month to everyone’s collective dismay, Johnnie Walker, the brand represented by a jolly man walking with a top hat and cane on the label of scotch whisky, obviously did not get the memo.
Diageo, the alcohol beverage company behind Johnnie Walker whisky, has announced that they are launching a limited edition “Jane Walker” brand of whisky, embossed with an image of a woman in a top hat, striding with purpose across the bottle. Just like the little man!
