Daniel Britton wants the world to know what it feels like to be dyslexic. Diagnosed with the learning difference at the age of 19, he felt frustrated that his university professors and peers could not relate to him. His solution was to create a font that would mimic dyslexia.
The letters in Britton’s ‘dyslexia font’ have been partly erased, which makes them harder to decipher. The overall effect is a text that is hard to read, significantly slowing down comprehension speed.
