We didn’t see it coming. Our little love C was a delight. Much calmer than her exuberant older sister G, she had been our “easy” child. G had been a bolter, dashing off at every opportunity, but C preferred to hold my hand; G liked to run wild at the park, but C was happiest looking at a book or cradling a doll. She was sweet and gentle, kind and affectionate. An angel.

But not any more! My adorable little girl has turned into a monster. She lashes out at G for her own entertainment. She scratches and hits. Pushes and bites. She walks round the house with a confident swagger making demands and yelling and screaming when they are not met.
